A RAY OF HOPE ....

*

There is a ray of hope at this dark hour that our folks won the faculty elections held on May 02, 2014 as given below:

Dr. M. Rajendra Pandian  - Governing Council Member (June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2016)
Dr. K. Navaneetha Kannan - Faculty Secretary (June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015)
Dr. J. Evanjeline Manoharan   - Senatus Member (June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015)
Dr. S. Premsingh - Senatus Member (June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015)

Dr. M. Rajendra Pandian (English) makes it to the GC for a third term. In 2006 and 2008 he was elected unopposed and this time by a thumping majority.

Dr. K. Navaneetha Kannan (Zoology) has already been the Faculty Secretary and then a Governing Council Member. This is his second term as Faculty Secretary.

Dr. J. Evanjeline Manoharan (Tamil) who lost the Senatus election last time scored the highest vote among the eight Senatus candidates this time. And,

Dr. Premsingh (Chemistry) has made it to the Senatus for a second consecutive year.

These election results give us the hope that ‘all is not lost’. They also renew our trust in the American College faculty who can restore the college and its glory.

Congrats and best wishes!

  6. The victory of our friends for the various positions mentioned, in the faculty elections has come as a whiff of fresh air in the encircling gloom of despair and frustration. Definitely 'all is not lost'. In fact, it is a resounding slap on the face of the thuggery and treachery practised so freely and shamelessly on the hallowed
campus of our College by the villains who are forcibly occupying positions of power and their friends and supporters.
This also sends out a strong warning to the evil forces which have reigned supreme till now that their days are numbered. I strongly believe that this is an act of God's own intervention to bring our College back to its original glory with all its noble principles and great traditions in tact.
While basking in the glory of this historical victory, our friends should take all possible steps and efforts to live up to the expectations of those who elected them. A heavy responsibility is placed on their shoulders. Let them work courageously and with a sense of commitment and determination. The College will be infinitely indebted to them then.
    BRAVO FRIENDS
