DIALOGUE TO END AMERICAN COLLEGE ROW

Addressing media persons after the council meeting, Rev G Devakadasham, president of the council and Church of South India ( CSI) moderator said, "We see the problem in three aspects as students, staff and administration issues and have decided to initiate a process to tackle them," Devakadasham said. *

    When was the management of The American College with the Bishop of the Madurai-Ramnad Diocese so that it would “continue to remain” with him? The management of the college has been with none other than its bona fide Governing Council as represented by its bona fide Secretary. With due respect to the Moderator and his much-talked-of-efforts to resolve the issues we want him to know that he needs to prove to this college—even in his newly assumed honorary capacity as the Chairman of the Council for the time being—that his intent, not just approach, is different from that of his infamous predecessor. How does he say their Council “had now been accepted by [all] the stake holders?” It is a false claim, as I understand. Why should anyone say like that then?
