It is sad to lose anyone, but our beloved College may at last escape the rapacious attacks of Bishop Christopher Asir. College leadership must act VERY carefully to restore the traditional management - with improvements!
Dear Sam, Your email is really newsworthy. It brought new hopes for our Alma Mater. Shelley was always my favorite poet. It was he who said, "If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?" When Winter approaches, everything starts dying until the hopeful Spring arrives. Life is a cycle of Death and Life . American College has gone through a "Virtual Dying Cycle" amidst all hopes and despair. The ominous winter (which signals death to individuals and institutions) is gone and hopefully the vibrant Spring (which signals new Birth) will bring renewed vigor and glory to American College.
With best wishes, O. George Berlin UCLA, Los Angeles, CA.
So many educationalists and visionaries spent their lives to bring American College to a national/state institution. The fire (Purificatus non Consumptus) that is part of the college symbol will go for centuries to come. We, as individuals are mortal but the institution will remain immortal and remain as beacon of hope as long as good and loyal people stand steadfast for a worthy and noble cause.
With best wishes, O. George Berlin UCLA, Los Angeles, CA.
The photograph atthe top of the message is very meaning ful. Who is responsible for whoes death? Poor Geroge died after he got an illegimate offer to be the Principal. Later he died and it looks as though he has taken Bishop Asir to be with him where ever he is (hell or heaven) VS
